How Coaching Works The Technical Stuff I coach via phone and email to work with clients all over the US and world. With individual clients, we meet for 1 hour four times a month. Coaching groups meet once per week on a conference call. Prior to each meeting you have the option to communicate your wins and challenges from the previous week as well as go over what you'd like to accomplish in the near future. In both group and individual coaching, we address how to use your mind and resources to achieve your ideal life. You set goals, and then together we create action steps, strategies and plans to help you get there. It’s a challenge, and it’s fun! Athletes use outcome-based techniques like these to create better performance, but I work with all kinds of women to do the same thing! Taking Action: Step by Step As you enter eating disorder coaching, know that it is not about quitting “cold turkey” or reporting every morsel that crosses your lips. Instead, the focus is on taking small steps towards the ultimate goal of recovery. No one else can make you stop, nor can I judge you on your individual journey. You get to choose!
